Hello Lovelings,
We have been working on a big project on the outside of our home. I wanted to make some changes to enhance the visual experience on our property. The result was more than I even expected. Not only does it “look” better. But it “feels” so much better as well. The work we did was definitely a labor of love. Most everyone that sees it, has something really positive to express, and that makes me feel really happy as well. The beauty of creating change with something that benefits all, is just an added bonus. So please do tell…what kind of changes have you made, if any, to create new and positive vibrations in your own life? If you have been stifled lately I encourage you to get right on it, because the benefits are nothing less than astounding. Even the smallest effort will make a big difference.
Shine on Loves,
Jules ♥

Fall is here and the weather will soon be delightful. The Fall is a great time to reconnect with yourself. Spend some time nourishing your body, mind, and spirit and reconnecting with “YOU”. Get outside and go for a walk in nature. Eat natural food that is prepared with “Love”. Dream of the life you would like to experience in all aspects. Nurture and embrace your emotional, spiritual, physical, intellectual, and sexual aspects and explore your inner world.
In our fast paced society with technology moving lighting fast it is important to slow down and decompress. It’s like my love Jules’ father said, “Go slow, you will see better”! A good way to slow down is to reconnect to the “breath”. More on The “Breath”. I like to use the inhale-hold-exhale-hold repeat technique: You simply inhale through your nose for a 3 count, then hold for a 3 count, exhale through mouth for a 6 count, hold for a 3 count then repeat. This will totally re-energize and calm you at the same time. Time to have some fun and rediscover “You”. Your challenge: To take one day this week and make it all about “you”. This means you will make yourself the number one priority for this one day. You deserve it! I recommend choosing a non work day and I also recommend shutting down all technological devices so that you may be completely present to your wants and needs as you spend the day exploring , loving , and nourishing yourself.

Well, the Fall has finally arrived and this means it is a perfect time to shed some old skin and overhaul your body. I would like to introduce you to some different beverages you can prepare to help the body cleanse itself and nourish it from the inside out. I’d like to break the drinks into three different categories, and also suggest what you will need for each.
#1. Juices– Need a juicer. You will be juicing mostly vegetables. There are many different types of juicers available on the market. Choose the one that works best for your unique needs. For these juices I recommend using beets and lots of greens with some lemon. Experiment and have fun becoming a juice-ologist!!
#2. Tea’s– You will need a tea pot. Bring water or nut milk to a boil, add some medicinal tea’s and herbs and spices to create your own healing tonics. I like to take some almond milk and water and add raw cacao powder, turmeric, and raw local honey and a medicinal tea such as dandelion root or pau d arco or green tea., whatever you like or feel will enhance your health. Use your imagination and intuition and give your body what it needs.
#3 Blended Drinks– Blender needed. Nutribullet is an inexpensive high powered blender that is perfect for concocting blended beverages. If you have lots of $ the Blend-tec or Vita-mix are excellent all purpose blenders. For these drinks you are going to put greens, vegetables, vitamin/mineral powders, super foods, fruits, nuts, seeds, all together and mix. These drinks are super nutritious and will fill you up. When you blend stuff together it masks the flavors. This is a wonderful way to sneak in some healthy veggies that you would not likely eat otherwise. I like to fill my liquid with nut milk, some water, and maybe some kefir or yogurt to add some beneficial bacteria for my gut flora. Then I will mix in some greens, some different super foods such as Maca, chia seeds, flax seeds, and other powdered supplements. I then add some good fats like coconut oil or some almond butter. Next comes the frozen berries. Finally I mix and pour into a pretty glass. Yummm!
*****This week, I challenge you to make 1 beverage from each category. Create. Have Fun. Love the process. Feel free to share your creations below. Thanks for participating!

For those of you that have seen the film Avatar, the precious Planthopper Nymph is very much a kin to Eywa, the guiding force of Pandora and the Na’vi. The Na’vi believe that Eywa keeps the eco system in perfect equilibrium. Yet unlike the Eywa that floats through the air with subtle delight, entering to aid with healing light of the universe, the Planthopper Nymph’s fate is earthbound.

With so many fad diets and philosophies on nutrition it may seem overwhelming to figure out what to eat. So I thought I would make it easy. If it comes from a box or package it is not real food and you can just avoid all of the items from this category. This means when you are at the grocery store you can just walk the perimeter where the “real” food is located. Read More

I was a very young girl the first time I ever read this quote. I can still recall the feeing I had after I read these beautiful words. It was like a breath of fresh air, a sign from the universe or a ray of sunshine bursting through a cloudy day instilling a hopeful direction in which I chose to take. And in retrospect, I am so “grateful” that I did do just that. Read More

Summer is coming to end and its time to prepare for the Fall. This is a wonderful time to de-clutter your spaces. Get rid of all the things you no longer use or need and organize the rest. This will make you feel amazing. It may seem like a daunting task, so just take it one space at a time. Maybe tackle some of the smaller spaces first. The idea is to have a clutter free home. Why your at it, you can throw away all that unhealthy food in the pantry and fridge and then restock with life enhancing foods. That’s another topic, so stay tuned as I will be discussing what foods to avoid and which ones to eat in a future post. Go through all your clothes and get rid of the items not being used. Organize your office by getting rid of outdated papers and storing the rest in filing cabinets or boxes. At my house, I took everything out my shed and organized it all, some of the stuff I am selling at a garage sale, the rest I will donate to charity, and whatever else is left I will dispose of at the dump. Enjoy the victory of completing one space as this will eventually turn into more and soon you will be basking in the glory of a clutter free environment. To make the tasks more enjoyable, I recommend listening to music, singing or whistling. I can’t wait till I can open up the windows and let the Fall air in to enhance the freshness of my new de-cluttered home. I invite you to accept the de-clutter your space challenge. In the next week or two, you have to see how many of your spaces you can organize by reducing the clutter and maximizing the efficiency of the space. Simple. Well, what are you waiting for? Get to it!
I also recommend, a detox for each season. So my next post will be on detoxication. Stay tuned. and remember ” Be good to your body and your body will be good to you.” Jared
