I am allll about Mediterranean comforts. The water, the lifestyle , the designs, the nature, and mostly the food. However, I also like American comfort foods like…hot dogs. But I don’t eat pork or cows. So, how does one satisfy the craving? This is how, right here.
If you enjoy eating mediterranean, in addition to American traditional comfort foods, here is a fun vegan recipe for you !“
Ingredients for hot dogs
6 to 8 plump carrots
4 Brioche Baguettes
two cups of fresh Taboli ( homemade or store bought )
4 slices of vegan cheddar cheese
One cup of vegan mozzarella cheese
Cut each of the carrots into three pieces, and boil them until they are medium soft,
Open your baguettes and lay them on a baking pan. Apply the cheese on each baguette. Put them in the broiler for just long enough to melt the cheese.
When cheese baguettes are done, cut each of them into three pieces each.
Then apply one carrot and top off with the taboli.
Tzatiki sauce is optional. But I highly recommend it. 🙂 Can be made with dairy free yogurt. ♥
